AZACP Members visit the AT&T Network DR Excercise

AT&T's Network Disaster Recovery Team was kind enough to invite all AZACP members to their quarterly DR excercise which was held February 21st here in Phoenix. Above are some of our members that took advantage of this great opportunity.

A special thanks go out to AT&T and to Jim Crosson for extending an invite to this most interesting DR Event.

Order your AZACP - Central Arizona Chapter Apparel!

Our chapter recently had the ACP logo digitized with a local embroidery company (Valley Embroidery) and it is now available. The logo also includes "Central Arizona Chapter" below it. We encourage everyone to help promote our chapter and the ACP at your workplace and throughout the community.

Cost for the embroidery work is $6.50 per piece with no minimum order. Select shirts, jackets or hats from Valley Embroidery's catalogs or bring in your clothing. Cost is still $6.50. Purchase most hats from Valley Embroidery and the embroidery of the logo is at no charge.

Click on the above image for a larger view.

For ordering information visit Valley Embroidery's web site or call them at 480-496-4113. Just tell them you want the ACP Logo.

ACP Organizational Memberships Are Now Available   (10/05/2006)

As ACP's CEO/Chairman, I am pleased to announce the association now offers organizational (corporate) memberships under the following structure:

  • 5 members (same employer), $500 for 1 year
  • 5 members (same employer), $950 for 2 years - essentially a 5% discount
  • 5 members (same employer), $1350 for 3 years - essentially a 10% discount

So, why is ACP doing this? First and foremost, a corporate-type membership has been the number one request for several years. Once the corporate bylaws were amended and approved to enable this membership type, the ACP Corporate Board benchmarked peer associations to develop an appropriate organizational membership structure.

The benefits of the organizational membership include discounts for purchasing multiple years, one invoice, transferability and trans-chapter memberships (i.e. one organizational membership could cover 2 members in one chapter and 3 in another).

Additionally, ACP now has a membership type for those organizations and companies that do not permit their employees to hold individual memberships.

Please note: ACP is not changing the existing individual membership program in any way. The organizational memberships are a separate and distinct additional offering. If you know someone who is interested in becoming an organizational member, please tell them to visit https://www.acp-international.com/join.taf and select "organizational" membership from the drop-down box.

ACP Sponsorship Program

In order to better engage the vendor community, the ACP Corporate Board has approved a new sponsorship program. To view the details of this exciting new program. please review our Patron Benefits document.

If your organization is interested in being one of ACP's official sponsors, please contact press@acp-international.com or call 414-908-4943 x111.
